Dr. Eric Jardine
I am an assistant professor of political science at Virginia Tech and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation. While trained as a classic social scientist, I am more of a data-minded nerd with an interest in measurement, the dark web, darknet markets, cybersecurity, cybercrime, and the broader politic of technology.
Beyond titles and affiliations, I am a bit of a humdrum academic. I like to read about measurement problems for fun (hence measuringcyber.com), write and play videos such as Quest for Glory.
